OpenAI brings editable GIF generation to ChatGPT with Images 2.6

Users can turn a written prompt or an uploaded photo into an animated GIF, then revise individual frames. The rollout also includes controls for animation speed and sharing. According to The Next Web, developers are getting two new API models, and OpenAI says users now generate more than four billion images weekly.
