OpenAI plans one ChatGPT interface for Chat and Work features

The redesign will bring instant chat and agentic work into a single experience rather than separate tabs. According to ZDNet, OpenAI will test the change with selected users before a wider rollout. The company is also retiring its ChatGPT Classic app on macOS in favor of the newer app.
