American Airlines expands Starlink plan to more than 1,000 mainline aircraft

The airline's expanded commitment more than doubles the number of aircraft it had previously earmarked for the service. According to Quartz, installations on Airbus and Boeing aircraft are planned to start in early 2027, with the rollout covering the carrier's entire mainline fleet rather than regional jets.
