SpaceX buys 800MHz spectrum to build out Starlink Mobile

The nationwide portfolio of low-band licenses is intended to help SpaceX turn its satellite service into a major U.S. wireless carrier competing with established telecom companies. According to The Verge, SpaceX says it will deploy a new architecture combining its satellite-to-mobile constellation with other infrastructure once the Federal Communications Commission approves the deal.
