Replit reportedly moves most AI spending from Anthropic to OpenAI

OpenAI offered Replit a discount of more than 30%, and the resulting contract is reportedly worth over $100 million annually, according to The Information, as cited by The Next Web. RuntimeWire reports that Replit CEO Amjad Masad has cited cost, performance and partnership in making OpenAI the preferred provider for Replit Agent.
