Replit CEO confirms company has ended work with Anthropic

Amjad Masad cited cost among the reasons for the decision, which follows Replit's announcement of an OpenAI partnership in August. Partnership and performance also factored into the decision, according to Unite.AI, which reported that Masad discussed the change during an onstage interview at TechCrunch Disrupt 2026.
