Developer builds free Microsoft Office alternatives with Claude AI

The developer behind AI-built Adobe replicas has released alternatives to Word, Excel and PowerPoint. According to TechSpot, the applications are named WordCraft, GridCraft and DeckCraft, are written in Rust, and carry MIT or Apache 2.0 licenses. TechSpot reports that the open-source tools remain at an early stage of development.
