DARPA selects four companies for final quantum computing evaluation

Atom Computing, Diraq, IBM and IonQ have advanced to Stage C of the Quantum Benchmarking Initiative. Their proposed systems will undergo hands-on government verification and validation, according to HPCwire. The programme tests whether a useful quantum computer can be built by 2033, The Next Web reports.
