Pentagon says it has ended Claude use following a six-month phaseout

The BBC says the Pentagon designated Anthropic a supply chain risk in February after the company refused to remove safety guardrails from its tools. According to RuntimeWire, BBC sources said Claude remained in Palantir’s Maven Smart System as recently as last week, despite an August target for completing the phaseout.
