Huawei and Qualcomm agree to share patents across 5G and AI
The multi-year agreement gives each company access to the other's patent portfolios in computing and networking as well as 5G and artificial intelligence. Qualcomm will also purchase some Huawei patents registered in the United States, extending the arrangement beyond licensing rights to include ownership of selected patents.
