Sony's quarterly profit rises 44% as PlayStation and Spider-Man lift results
Sony reported net profit of 449.60 billion yen, about $2.84 billion, for the three months ended September, according to The Verge, which cited contributions from PlayStation and Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Film division revenue rose 48% in the second quarter and Sony raised its annual outlook, the Financial Times reported.
