Tesla and SpaceX set up independent panels to assess merger

Elon Musk says the companies are considering a combination, with independent directors handling the review and Musk excluded from the discussions. He supports combining the businesses. According to The Verge, he disclosed the committees during SpaceX’s third-quarter earnings call and said they were formed at shareholders’ request.
