Town secures $108 million Series B at a $1 billion valuation

Forerunner Ventures and Menlo Ventures co-led the funding round for the startup, which develops AI assistants for the workplace. Town calls its assistant a Townie, according to Unite.AI, while The Next Web reports that existing investors a16z and First Round Capital also participated in the round.

TechCrunch reports the valuation came four months after launch.
