New York City commits $29.2 million to NYU quantum chip facility

The planned Quantum Fabrication Facility, called QFab, will provide quantum chip manufacturing and testing capabilities alongside workforce training programs, according to Data Center Dynamics. HPCwire reports that the funding announcement came from Mayor Zohran Kwame Mamdani, Deputy Mayor Julie Su and New York City Economic Development Corporation chief Anthony Shorris.
