Apple's planned smart home controller gets the HomeView name

Apple plans an October 13 smart home launch, with HomeView scheduled for release in mid-November, according to Bloomberg. The publisher also reports details about a new HomePod mini and Apple TV, including colors, chips and features, while AppleInsider says the controller will arrive before the end of 2026.
