The XMTP Labs CEO's incident happened on October 1, according to RuntimeWire, which dates Business Insider's account to October 9. RuntimeWire reports that Mac said Grok Bot confused similarly named chats and shipped a change to channel permissions the night before the Business Insider account was published.
