Waymo secures $5 billion loan to expand its robotaxi service
The Alphabet-owned company has used debt financing for the first time, with PIMCO, Blackstone and Sixth Street leading the loan. Waymo said the funding would support expansion of its driverless ride-hailing service in the United States and abroad, according to The Next Web. The company announced the deal on Thursday.
