OpenAI reports Iranian and Russian AI campaigns targeting Western media

OpenAI banned accounts linked to two propaganda operations based in Iran and Russia, according to The Hill, which said the Russian operation had the largest reach the company has recorded. CyberScoop reported that the campaigns received severity ratings of four and five out of six, OpenAI’s first reported high-impact influence campaigns.
