OpenAI introduces Ultrafast mode and Decisions API for faster AI responses

GPT-6.1 Sol's new Ultrafast mode runs eight times faster across the API, Codex and ChatGPT Work, according to Neowin. Separately, MarkTechPost reports that the Decisions API is in public beta on GPT-6 Luna, returning typed probabilities, choices and scores about ten times faster than the Responses API.
