Microsoft plans to integrate outside deepfake detection into Teams
The planned support is intended to help protect meeting participants against impersonation. According to Cyber Security News, certified third-party providers will examine meeting audio and video for signs of manipulation, and Microsoft lists the feature as still in development, with rollout scheduled to begin in November 2026.
