Apple sets October 13 event focused on smart home products

The company confirmed the event with the tagline “Welcome home,” following earlier reports about a home-focused launch. Bloomberg's Mark Gurman expects Apple to introduce a smart home hub, an updated HomePod mini and a new Apple TV 4K, with all three featuring Siri AI.
