Amazon reaches 1,000 satellites built as internet launch approaches
Amazon says its broadband service is weeks away. According to The Next Web, production has increased from 27 satellites over six months to 27 per week, but only 396 satellites are in orbit. The publication reports that the orbital shortfall cost Amazon spectrum priority in July.
