Advantest notifies people of data theft following ransomware attack

Chip testing company Advantest is contacting people whose personally identifiable information was exposed in a ransomware attack earlier this year, according to BleepingComputer. SecurityWeek reports that hackers stole the personal data from the Japanese company's servers during a February 2026 cyberattack, with the disclosure coming months later.
