Google fixes 247 security vulnerabilities in Chrome 155

Four of the patched vulnerabilities are critical use-after-free defects affecting Chromecast, Browser, Navigation and Track. According to Cyber Security News, Google released the update on October 6, 2026, for Windows, Mac and Linux, and its announcement identifies the critical bugs as use-after-free flaws rather than explicitly describing them as code execution vulnerabilities.
