Vinci raises $250M at a $1.5B valuation for physics simulation

The Palo Alto startup, whose software simulates physics for chip and hardware design, closed a Series B led by Advent, Temasek and Xora Innovation. Earlier backers Eclipse and Khosla Ventures took part again, according to The Next Web. CEO Hardik Kabaria told Reuters, as relayed by RuntimeWire, that the money will fund computing, hiring and new products.
