First reported by The Verge at · Updated · 2 sources

The streaming box launched nearly seven years ago at $199.99, according to The Verge, which links the increase to the memory shortage affecting other electronics. Nvidia has also stopped selling the base Shield TV, according to PCMag, which reports no indication that a refreshed model is on the way.

  • The Verge lists the Pro’s launch specifications as a Tegra X1+ processor, 3GB RAM and 16GB storage.
