Apple opens App Store submissions for apps adapted to iPhone Duo

Existing App Store apps will run on the foldable device, but unoptimized apps will display black borders, according to MacRumors. The publication reports that apps need the iOS 27.1 SDK or later to resize dynamically across the full inner display, ahead of the phone's launch on Friday, October 23.
