Elon Musk says Tesla is improving robotaxis’ nighttime animal detection
Tesla’s self-driving cabs use cameras to detect cats and other street hazards, according to Business Insider. Musk described difficulty spotting animals that blend into roads at night, including grey kittens on grey tarmac, as Austin service hours extended from 10pm to 11pm, according to The Next Web.
