Alibaba in early talks with Spain’s Solaria over power for a data centre
Alibaba has held preliminary talks with Spanish solar producer Solaria about supplying power to a data centre at Puertollano, south of Madrid. Quartz describes the plan as using Solaria's Puertollano plant to power the facility. The talks come as Spain drafts rules that would require data centre operators to be established in the EU.
